I'm going for a comfortable 2-0 win. I reckon D&R are better than the Shrimpers and we should be able to pass the ball better on their pitch. Gooden to score his first for the Gulls with Boylan notching as well.

Ive got a nice feeling about tommorow that because i'm going to miss the game we will win by a good few goals e.g. 3-1.

with drewe, husbands and gower scoring for us. And that overated boylan scoring for you.

ps: thurgood was one of our worst players last season.

we have some real quality now and i'm not just saying that. Warran , cort , husbands , fullarton and gower have really impressed me.

The eight new signings ( what hopefully will be 12 by 2moro as husbands, lede, che and robinson are all expected to sign 2day) really do look good.

Whats this about Southend calling Canvey pikey's!!!! My god - Canvey host a total of 0 immigrants...whereas Southend has about the same total as Dover!! You can't walk down the High Street in Southend without having to dodge your way past a group of 10 Albanian pikies in 2nd hand Kappa tracksuits..!

I think those Southend boys should be careful......

Come on Canvey lets stuff 'em!! Boylan, Minton and Gooden to score....(blues defence is s**t) and for Southend - bramble (2)

does nobody realise Southend lost 2-0 at Kingstonian last night. They are a poor outfit . I would have rather have Boylan Brayley and Gregory than Bramble , Husbands and the other lanky one Broughton. They are all awful

No MMIM I didn't realise that!

I bet Broad & Beard were loving it!!

I don't like to be too optomistic and say we will win tomorrow, but hopefully the outcome of the game will reflect on the skill and ability we at Canvey now possess. Half, (well most) of the Southend squad probably only know of Canvey only from the road signs as they come into the area.

The 1-1 friendly at Park Lane was good, but I feel tomorrow we'll see more value for money from both teams.

COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!!!! (With a bit 'a blue!)

No wonder the admission price is only £5 & £1 they need to convince the immigrants to spend their dole money taking their children to the game. They are "the future supporters of this find Club"!

We have Kid for a Quid deals, they have Kosovan for a Quid deals!! Cheap labour, 'Bring A Slave Day'

Sing up now!!!!!

"Southend's full of Kosovans,
Southend's full of Kosovans,
La la la la, la la la la."

wearing my beautiful new Gulls shirt

But I thought you said Canvey always lose when you wear their new shirt!

Hmm See You've been paying particular attention to my posts!

Yeah so far, played two wearing the new shirt and lost both of them but admittedly it was against Hull and Daggers. When you are getting spanked by Folkestone and Stortford whilst wearing the new shirt you do start to worry about whether the shirt is jinxed! Oh well just have to carry out a voodoo ritual!

Well Southend are in a panic buying state.
Shows the respect they have towards the Gulls and so they bl**dy well should do. They must learn to look up to their betters.
C'mon the Yellows.

Not sure about Thurgood's merits as a player yet, but if he was one of your WORST players why did you offer him another contract? How many of your bad players stayed?

2 Points:
1. Why is the game being played at Southend, normally this type of game is played at the lower rank team.
2. YA if you wear anything but a shiney white tracksuit, gold chains and a baseball cap on Southend High Street you'll be getting beaten up

This match was arranged at Steve Tilson's Testmimonial, before Southend had appointed Wignall as Manager. As the last one was at Park Lane I suppose it was our turn to return the favour.

YA can play Scout tomorrow. If he's going tomorrow he can pop in The Spread Eagle and report back what the place is like. It's just down the road from where he works, he won't walking those extra few hundred yards. Nice job for ya YA

Don't know if I'll be able to join him there though. I may be hobknobbing with the VIPs with Ian_W!!

Firstly EFM, we are playing there cos they need the dough, we doughn't(get it?) secondly we are aware of the del boy chain and dodgy tracky problem which we will avoid by simply scattering two pence pieces into the road and watching the Twats get lamped by the traffic, problem solved.

Yeah walk in to the Spread Eagle with a Yellow Shirt on. It would be like a scene from a Western! Could be worse though, it could be The Last Post!!

Get your facts right, Pikey. Our youth team lost to Kingstonian on Thursday evening. None of our first team were playing. Mind you, if you want to be pedantic, we beat Dagenham 4-1 last season; you pikey's lost, what was it, 3-0 earlier this week?!
