Phil Taylor has got to be favourite, anybody think there'll be any surprises, i think the top three have to be Taylor, Part and Manley.

I'd go along with that but Taylor's a machine. I can't really see anyone beating him at the moment, especially after what he did to that other geezer. 10-0 wasn't it? On their day, both Part & Manley can give him a game but I think Taylor's confidence & ability is sky-high right now. On that subject, I'm off to play darts for my local now. The Rose, Wood Street, Northfleet. Gravesend league div. 2 runners up,2003, next season's absolute favourites for instant relegation! And we play in red shirts! Taylors got a new groove in his darts and aparantely it makes him play better. We'll just have to wait and see.

Saw bits of it tonight. Thought Priestly was unlucky. Part didn't exactly win, the other bloke lost. We drew, by the way. I need more than a new groove to make me play better. A new brain might be in order.....how did I miss that double one....?

Oooohh yesss. If lobbing a glorified spear across a field is a sport i.e. javelin, then so is darts. And the big advantage with darts is you are actively encouraged to get totally plastered whilst playing it. A sport? The King of sports, my son!!

Here, here. Darts is more of a sport than synchronised swimming (although the participants in darts aren't quite so attractive!).

Synchronised swimming I do draw the line at though. Especially the individual event!

Doubt it, he's probably tee-total. You can't knock the guy though. He is one heck of a good sportsman, a great competitor for his country and a good role model for aspiring athletes

Bit of a hypocrite though isn't he. Refused to compete on Sunday's because of his religious beliefs and then once he becomes good it is suddenly alright

I can't see why anyone sould have a problem with any athlete because of their beliefs. He represented our country and won Olympic and World gold medals. Stop knocking British winners.
