Canvey Island -Vs- Gravesend & Northfleet

Recommended Posts

Ok, after last night's good "ass-whippin'" at the hands of Gillingham it's time to turn our attention to Conference team Gravesend & Northfleet, who, (hopefully) won't be able to beat us by as greater margin as the Gills.

Most of those who didn't start against Gillingham are likely to play (inc. Gavin Cowan & Danny Potter) and hopefully the weather conditions will be improved from last night...

Prediction

Canvey Island 2 - 2 Gravesend & Northfleet

Scorers: Gooden & Midgley

Att. 450-ish <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Predicted Starting Line-Up

- Potter -

- Smith - Chenery - Cowan - Davidson -

- Kennedy - Minton - Parmenter - Gooden -

- N. Gregory - Boylan -

SUBS: Theobald, Duffy, Bennett, Dobinson, Protheroe, Parmenter, Berquez, Midgley & Harrison

Probably be dry, according to the forecast I've just seen.

As said in another forum, this one will be the real test, providing, of course, both teams play a strong side. So far, G&NFC have released &/or sold &/or lost 12 players & have signed 10 so that's basically half the squad replaced. Because of that, I won't even attempt to name our starting 11 as I don't know most of them are! However, the score? 2-1 to the Fleet. (kiss of death strikes again!!!)
