I am about to enter a 'Sun Dream Team' competition in my workplace and was looking for a bit of advice on what players and what type of players I should go for.

For example, Should I spend the majority of the money available on Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Thierry Henry and the rest of the money on budget players in the hope that van Nistelrooy and Henry get a very height number of points. Or should I spend a similar amount of cash on each player and try to get more of a balance and points throughout the team?

Never played any type of 'Fantasy Football' game before believe it or not, but I'm sure one or two of you have and was after some advice…

Help!

You need the quality strikers, whilst finding good value in defence. Also go for a quality goalkeeper as the rest will let you down.....

Ah well you see I have elected to not view signatures so that I don't get those ridiculous banners that some people insist on using <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Right this is my finished line up:

Keeper: Martyn
Defenders: Konchesky, Carr, Alpay, Terry
Midfielders: Harper, Davies, Prutton
Strikers: Van Nistelrooy, Henry, Bellamy

Any comments?
