Gulls Win Race For Midfielders Signature!

Canvey Island FC are delighted to announce the signing of 25 year old midfielder Matt Game from Conference South Braintree Town.

 

Game put pen to paper to a contract at the Brockwell Stadium after agreeing terms with the club this week.

 

Canvey Manager John Batch said 'A number of Conference South and Ryman Premier clubs have spoken to Matt but im very pleased to have secured his signature. Matt is a player who has great energy and excellent ability, he is a key addition to our squad for the coming season.'

Good signing. Seem to remember he got quite a bad injury playing for Billericay at Hornchurch a few seasons ago but is a decent player who likes to get stuck in.
