Ticket prices aside, let's talk about the following..............

Now, as a non-league club, I suppose this will be a big match for you. As a Burnley fan, I travel home and away and we have, in my opinion, the second best away support in the Nationwide, being second to Man City. I'm juust wondering how many you will bring to The Turf and how many you took to Wigan. I will guess the number will be about half of your maximum gate that you'll get at home this season.

Hope you do bring a big following as that is something that is missing every game at the Turf every matchday. You get a good view in a large stand (it holds about 4 thousand)and is behind the goals.

I do think that CANVEY WILL WIN, we are **** against teams that are not as high up in the league(s) as us. Oh yeah, i will guess that BUrnley put out an almost reserve team as well.

So much for paying extra to watch better players.............................

I've heard some cods in my time, but fanere you take the biscuit. I think that you will put out a fairly full strength side as you've not had many games lately and need to keep that match fitness up. If you put out the reserves you are inviting a large banana skin. Now come on...your Clarets are running high, having a fab season and look good for a Prem slot. If we do win this it will be thee shock of thee season.

At a guess I would say that 400 would be the Canvey attendance and I think it was about that for the Wigan game.
I would agree with you though that you do have excellent support which carried on through the lean times. Your ground is intimidating and reminds me of Millwall's Old Den for the atmosphere on matchdays - and that is a meant as a compliment.
I'm looking forward to the visit at the weekend, desperatley hoping we hold out for a draw, but realise that you may run out comfortable winners. Whatever...I'm sure we'll give a good account of ourselves.
Safe journey to all the Yellow travellers.
Latest weather forecast looks slightly better for up there. Fingers crossed.
