It's York City at home on Saturday for the Terriers and with them being unbeaten, they'll be a bit of 'edge' to things. The club's expecting another 10,000 plus but I can't see it myself - 8,500 maybe.

On bank holiday Monday we play Doncaster away. It's an all ticket affair and while I don't know how ticket sales are going at their end we've more or less sold all our allocation of 2,300. So it should be a good ole' atmosphere.

I was at 'Belle Vue' last season for the 'Fleet' game where Wilko played a blinder but couldn't prevent us getting a 'stuffing' so I'm hoping for something a little better this time........... They seem to be goin' great guns since their promotion back the football league so they'll need to be repected and matched man for man - even that 'diver' Paul Barnes.

Good luck over the bank holiday and C'mon Yoooooooooou Reeeeeeeeeds!

I can dig that dude! - I really hope York City continue their recent good fortune after today.

However, (admittedly I am usually wrong when I stick my neck out) I have a feeling that some day soon we're gonna give someone a real battering and it just could turn out to be the case today. 5-0 perhaps!

Of course I have no real evidence for this outragous prediction other than pre-match giddiness and the desire to dream a while.

Cheers!

Great result for York City 0-1 at Huddersfield Town.

The Terriers were totally out battled and out run. Hardly any chances to either side but well done to them, they deserved it! Not a crisis time for us just yet though.

Sadly, a section of the York travelling support were a total disgrace. They caused trouble 2 hours before the game, there were arrests inside the ground (which is almost unheard of) and after the game it was like turning the clock back to the late 70's with running battles between hundreds of fans.

All this compounded by 'Fleet' losing too!

So as you can imagine I'm p*ssed off.

What's it all coming to, mate? We had segregation down here for around 25 Telford supporters who would have loved to come into the bar for a beer and a chat with us. Then you hear about the sort of trouble you've had and, bingo, tarred with the same brush etc...it's all b*ll*cks, isn't it.
