Just reading through and can't believe all this is happening/happened.

If all this is to do with upsetting certain sensitive souls from the club (as mentioned on Ian's thread) then those people do not understand the nature of forums and should not read them. This site has provided so much useful information in the past and contains a wealth of Canvey's most important memories to date. I'm always on here reading match reports and posts on the discussion board and view here first for any of the latest activity going on as I know it will appear here first.

 

Surely there must be someone sensible around on the Island who can work out a solution to this for all parties concerned.

BAN THIS MAN .. HE OBVIOUSLY HATES CANVEY F.C. AND DEVOTES NONE OF HIS SPARE TIME TO IT AT ALL!!!

and just in case you thought it was only the glory stuff, heres one from 'arra borough' away last season.. hardly a glamour tie for the gulls and no easy trip, but theres a full report with a plenty of pictures on line that evening.. this is a tiny glimpse of the work these three have done over the years, if you trek thru the canvey site there are hundreds of reports and pictures especially of the premiership years.. you can even find pictures of the brighton game! port vale, burnley etc they are all on there..

the official site wont get within a hundred miles of what these boys have put together.. the more i think about it (and drink) the more it p.sses me off.. im not prone to emotional outbursts and it takes a lot for someone to fk me off .. but this really has!..

Trouble is it doesn't do anything but make me more taller. It's a genetic thing I think, as at 17 I think I'm still growing I believe I will fill out in time. I believe my Dad and some of his brothers had the same problem. Give it time chaps! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The Fourth person (3rd from left) is Tony Roche, Canvey Island FC's Press Officer. He's an Official at the Club so he's not banned.

LOL - so you are telling me that officials from your club were prepared to accept rides in limos provided by the website team to Villa Park (I am guessing that is what it was for) - yet at the same time are prepared to ban you from their ground for apparantly being a little critical of lack lustre performances on the pitch.

This is shocking and really rather pathetic on behalf of the club officials. Good God, if this line was used in Hx, Urchino and I would have been thrown out on a limb after what we wrote following our first 2 games!

I was the same at your age, Matt. Ate and drink shtloads, but remained at nine stone. It's all caught up with me now though!!

Surely you should ask the club for royalties for the two pictures of Ian's they still use in the programme for Wardy and Crow on the sponsorship page?

What you may call spare time he calls work. You really believe he does this for the love of Canvey? Ian, where were you when we were Ryman 2ND? I do not agree with the ban but i doubt if Matt or you Ian have paid to see a game. If you are on a press pass Matt, then report as an unbiased pressman would. If, however you want to post as a fan i.e. management needs changing,then at least pay for the privilege, like the rest of us! Straw poll at the club house says the same, fan or press, which is it? no one wants to lose three supporters and would like to see you back as supporters not hangers on. Just the other day matt mentioned one of his best moments as being in the press conference at wigan looking at the yellow army on the other side, well quite a few were at games such as tilbury, berkhampstead, and others over at least 15 years and they could never get where you were, don't you think you have had a bit of glory out of us? You have as a PRESS pass holder experienced what 99% of GENUINE supporters will never, and all for free. GROW UP!
