A summary of Saturday's goings on from the Non League Today Website:

http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=70372

In the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday, Abingdon Town shared the points and four goals with visitors Wokingham & Emmbrook.

Hitting the back of the net for the Abbots were Sam Gordon and Niall Hodgkins, and for the Satsumas, Dave Bellis and Sam Duffelen.

High-flyers Ascot United were brought down to earth by lowly Carterton, thanks to an own goal and a second half effort from Dave Bostock.

Highworth Town drew with Thame United. Steve Robertson put the Worthians in front by the break but Nik Rhodes equalised just after the restart.

Milan Barisic made some magical saves in the final few minutes to save a point for the visitors.

Oxford City Nomads trounced Shortwood United by 5-2. Rob Colwell opened the scoring for the Wood but Adam Morris equalised on half time. However, James Dobson, Ben Moses with a pair and Pablo Haysham put the result beyond doubt despite a late Alex Allard reply.

Pegasus Juniors succumbed to visitors Old Woodstock Town, despite leading for a large chunk of the game.

Chris Mortlock’s first half opener was cancelled just after the break by Reece Denton, but Matt Maturi put Peggy in front again. However, late goals from Luke Ingram with two and Jack Dunmall settled the outcome.

Witney United lost out to new league leaders Ardley United. Jack Lonsdale gave the Blanketmen an early lead, but Lewis Travers in the first period and then Ben Milner (pictured) and Troy Bryan in the second half secured the victory for the visitors.

In Division One West, Bicester Town were unlucky not to get a point when Purton’s Ashley Gooch hit the only goal of the game just before the final whistle.

Table-toppers Headington Amateurs’ 100% league record remains intact after a close encounter with Cheltenham Saracens.

Mike Rhodes gave the Saras an early lead, but Aaron Williams quickly replied for the `As`. However, Luke Cuff’s second half effort was enough to secure the points for the division’s leaders.

Hook Norton drew with Malmesbury Victoria. Jody McKay put Hooky in front after the break but Mark Field secured a welcome point for the Vics with a late penalty.

Launton Sports collected their first point of the season after a goalless encounter with Easington Sports.

In Division One East, Chinnor were beaten by two late goals from Woodley Town’s Nick Edwards and Ryan Witt.

Farnborough Reserves won by the odd goal in three against Finchampstead. Jack Thompson and Jordan McGill had given the home side a two-goal cushion before Graham Pickersgill was able to reply late in the game for the Finches.

The top of the table clash between leaders Henley Town and second placed Milton United produced a predictable draw.

Alex Allen put Henley in front after 10 minutes but Ben Taylor soon replied for Milton and the rest of the game saw a stalemate in the proceedings.

Penn & Tylers Green swapped places with bottom club Rayners Lane after going down by 2-1 Lee Gardner scored first for the Lane but this was countered by Chris Hurst’s reply from the spot. However, Chris Arens popped up to score the winner in the last minute of the game.

South Kilburn grabbed their first win of the season by hitting five past a lacklustre Didcot Town Reserves.

Abdi Yassin and Jerome Scarlett with a four-timer were Kilburn’s heroes for the day.

There were a handful of 'Bluefin'-Insurance Brokers Challenge Cup ties played on Saturday.

Hungerford Town Reserves booked their passage to the next round after a 4-2 victory over Winterbourne United.

Trowbridge Town were dumped out after conceding four times without replying to visitors, Slimbridge.

On target for the Swans were Paul Carter, Tom Speers, Lewis Wilton and Danny Chandler.

Tytherington Rocks were knocked out by visitors, Chalfont Wasps after losing the penalty shoot-out by 4-1.

Jimmy Potts put the Rocks ahead early in the first half but Fred Trip soon equalized.

Potts then gave the Rocks the lead in extra-time but Trip was again on hand to supply the equaliser to force penalties.

Division 1 West

2 1 Headington Amateurs v Cheltenham Saracens

28

My guess is that Headington Amateurs will go through this season unbeaten or even win every game they play, they're already ten points clear in Division 1 West:
