Kettering in their pre-season chest beating never did understand for instance what facing eleven Braintree defenders was going to be like

Actually most of us have fallen to earth we are now in the litospehere and need a helping to get back up how about 2 on the 26th of the Decemeber and the 12th of April

What Canvey defend well I thought the plan was see how many the oppo score and try to out do it at the other end

i agree with ricay here.. defence is merely a random act that determines how hard boylan has to work in the 2nd half..

This why Canvey have been the bridesmaid for the last few seasons because they mistakenly belive that defence dosent matter. It is as important as if not more so then attacking look at Arsenal the season they considered less than a goal every other game.

riccay had a great defence last season but im afraid i prefer to watch goals.. remember its supposed to be a 'spectator sport'

 

i'd sooner watch 7 goal ryman games rather than a load of nil nil rubbish no matter what league its in

Who also had a great last season Aldershot and who won the league if Canvey are to make the conference proper they will have to realise to win leagues you have to actually defend.

Badly which isnt suprsing with only 2 of the rock solid back 5 of last season still at Ricay but my point remains you cant win any league with this keegan like attitude
