A summary of the weekend's games form the Non League Today Website:

http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=70714

In the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday, Ascot United’s inconsistent form continued with a defeat at the hands of the improving Shortwood United.

Alex Allard with two and Ross Casey had given the Wood a comfortable cushion before Rob Saunders was able to reply late in the game.

Binfield had a satisfactory afternoon by taking the points from current whipping boys Pegasus Juniors.

Carl Davies and James Suarez had given the Moles a half time lead but Tom Boyle and Justin Halfpenny redressed the balance shortly after the break. However, normal service was resumed when Ian Davies and then Gary Sargeant added to the Moles’ scoreline.

Fairford Town are still left without a win and remain rooted to the bottom of the table after their latest loss to Bracknell Town.

Rich Mills left it very late to score the only goal of the game for the visitors.

Strugglers Shrivenham were 2-0 up in their match against visitors Flackwell Heath, courtesy of Shane Davies and Michael Silvanus, but with less than 10 minutes of the game remaining, the Heathens rescued a point after Simon Goodhram (pictured) and then Danny Jordan found the back of the net.

Wokingham & Emmbrook surprisingly won against a revitalized Highworth Town.

Nick Bateman had given the Satsumas a half time lead but in a 10-minute spell late in the game, four more goals were scored, three for the Moles through Tom Hopper, Luke Lee and Shaun Wnklyn, with a Ritchie Saunders consolation effort for the Worthians sandwiched in between.

Wootton Bassett Town conceded three times before the break to Marcus Richardson, Danny Seaward and Luke Farrugia for visitors Reading Town and, despite tightening up in the second period were unable to get back into the match.

County Cup duty restricted Saturday`s Division One West`s programme to just two fixtures.

Cheltenham Saracens slaughtered Malmesbury Victoria by 8-2 with one from Luke Davis, pairs from Jamie Hammond and Mike Rhodes and a 5 minute hat trick from Carl Griffiths.

Mark Field and then Matt Russell from the penalty spot hit the Vics’ consolations.

Winterbourne United had a creditable draw with second placed Cricklade Town.

Ashley Knight put the home side into an early lead from the spot and Crick had to wait until the closing minutes before Ben Carter replied also from the spot.

In Division One East, Finchampstead conceded a goal in each half to the revitalized Newbury, courtesy of Russell Benham and Jamie Green.

Holyport’s undefeated record was surrendered after losing by the odd goal in three to visitors, Chalfont Wasps.

Lewis Driver put Holyport into the lead just after the break but Fred Trip then scored twice to take the game for the Wasps.

Milton United were turned over by a struggling Rayners Lane outfit, conceding twice without reply, thanks to Dene Gardner and Mark Woolley.

Penn & Tylers Green remain in position at the foot of the table after an exciting encounter with Farnborough Reserves.

The visitors were four-up at half time through Jack Thompson, Dan Bowden with a pair and Jordan Pearce, but a sterling second half effort saw Penn pull three back through Chris Hurst, Jamie Hunt and Matt Miller. However, it was not quite enough to affect the final outcome.

South Kilburn’s Abdi Yasser was on hand to score the only goal of the game just before the break against the high-flying Hungerford Town Reserves, to earn some unexpected but very welcome points.

Woodley Town cruised past Didcot Town Reserves. Danny Isaiew scored twice early in the game to give the home side a comfortable cushion.

Danny Cox then pulled one back for the visitors just before half time, but Luke Williams settled the nerves and the result with his second half effort in the 55th minute.

In the'Bluefin'-Insurance Brokers Challenge Cup on Saturday, Purton were 2-0 down to Letcombe, thanks to a Pete Horswell double either side of half time before Ashley Gooch was able to claw one back early in the second period but it was not enough to start a revival leaving Letcombe to go through to the next round.
