I'm a little sick of all the 'this is why ford should get sacked' and the 'this is why ford shouldn't get sacked' now. But whatever happens to the bald guy in the dugout I think we need to start singing more! Bang the drum! And not to the anti-ford chants, to the good old fleet songs we heard so much last season. I don't care what you say it DOES have a motivational effect on the players and a demoralisng effect on their players. I can understand it if you don't wanna sing because your upset we're doing bad, but singing makes you feel much better and a little less aggressive to our underperforming players and staff.

I'm actually beginning to forget some fleet songs. So next time lets ALL (not just those by the drum) sing your heart out for the lads!

Thankyou! I couldnt hear anyone else starting the songs on saturday?! When we did start a few songs about 20 people joined in behind the goal!! All these people that keep saying the drum should be used to support the team, I couldnt agree more otherwise I wouldnt lug the bloody great thing about with me every week!!
If I heard people starting to sing over the various moaning people I would play the drum to it! Please do not expect me to keep trying to start songs when no b*st*rd joins in!!
That makes me look an even bigger pillock than I already do with that HUGE drum strapped to me!

Despite people's personal views on the state of play at the moment, motivation is the key at the moment. I grudgingly admit it is hard to give it a lung-full when the team is getting a pasting but by doing so, it may just lift the players to that extra level and give us something to sing about again. Motivation is a two-way thing here. I'll always join in with ya, mate. Anyway, I think the drum quite suits you ..............Yaaahahahahah!!!!!!
