We lose all the time, so we really don't give one.

 

To us, supporting City is paramount. We have an excellent ground in idyllic surroundings. We have the choice of 50 excellent pubs. We don't allow the odd string of defeats to stifle our arrogance.

Ah! we are talking about Rushden. We've played them the last two pre-seasons for some reason or other.

 

We went there to see our reserves some while back: nice ground, nice bar, nice carpark, not a very nice place though.

I've been to Northampton on two or three occasions, and their fans seem to think that Cambridge are their biggest rivals.

Now, Cambridge are their biggest rivals, but all those years when they were bottom of Divsion Four and we were second in the Alliance, who do you think they were scared of? Our whole campaign for the vote in 1973 was based on "Geographically we're near Northampton, but we're better so vote for us in place of them."

Talking of one way rivalry - Aylesbury and Wycombe, whats all that about!

Me, despite the Wooooooooood and Aldershot and so forth, my pet hates will still always be Stevenage and Enfield, even though I do feel sorry for Enfield now (and we still haven't done the double over them in my lifetime)

Slough tend to have a grudge against most teams. Wycombe are still the Scum, which is a legitimate rivalry given we challenged them for the conference in 93 and look at our respective fortunes ever since. At least everybody hates Woking
