Do you want Yeovil or Doncaster

well i dont prefer either away as a draw will be the best result at their grounds. As they are two good sides. I say this as most of our games in this competition are against lowly opposition and we are yet to rise to the challege. The positive is our recent return to form. So how shares my more cautious thoughts. shocked.gif" border="0

Donny View: http://www.yaurs.com
Rovers were today drawn at home to FA Trophy holders Canvey Town in the 5th round, provided they put Yeovil out of the competition in the much delayed 4th round tie at Huish Park.

The tie repsesents a stern challenge for Rovers and interim caretaker coach and team selector, Dave Penney had this to say, "it is another hard draw against the Cup holders but if you are going to progress and win the Trophy you have to beat these teams at some stage in the Competition. Its another good draw because it is at home and against good opponents so will be a good test for us".

Hi,
I see you have been given a tough away draw at either Doncaster Rovers or Yeovil Town. These teams lie 3 & 4th in the conference.
Do you have any preference, as to who you would like to play?
X2001

To be honest I don't really mind. Either way we are going to have a hard game on our hand, but see no reason why we can't win it. These are the biggest two teams left in the competition on league placing, so to knock one of them out would surely mean we would be favourites.

I wouldn't fancy either in February! We (K's) usually beat Yeovil at this stage of the comp, so maybe their time has come...
5th Round Draw:
1 Barnet or Scarborough v Morecambe

2 Gravesend & Northfleet or Hendon v Mangotsfield United or Stalybridge Celtic

3 Margate v North Ferriby United or Braintree Town

4 Stevenage Borough v Forest Green Rovers

5 Yeovil Town or Doncaster Rovers v Canvey Island

6 Farnborough Town or Burton Albion v Woking

7 Chester City or Solihull Borough v Hereford United or Hampton & Richmond Borough

8 Northwich Victoria v Telford United

I for one actually enjoy these nice away day's as we do get some more supporters and everyone seems to pull together. It will be a very hard game who ever we play but we all know that we can match and even beat the Conference teams.
I am just glad I will be able to make this trip as I unfortunately could not make the journey to Grantham.
Another great day for the Canvey Calender.
