Well we got to Springfield at around 1:00PM, the pitch didn't look too bad, at least not from the touchline. The ref went out on to the pitch at around 1:30pm with a ball and preceded to bounce the ball in various areas of the pitch.

At around 1:40pm the ref decided the pitch was a danger to players and called it off. The Springfield Manager pleaded with the ref to give it 20 minutes to give him and his staff time to fork the pitch to try and get the game on. The ref agreed but despite the valiant attempts of the Springfield guys (it had continued to rain during this period), the ref still called it off at 1:55pm, 5 minutes before the 2:00pm KO, with all the players on the pitch.

Now you might think this is a winge at the ref for calling the game off so late, but that's not the case, the ref gave the game every chance to go ahead but the weather just wouldn't desist. Just one of those things.

Gonna have a big build upof games to play at the end of the season and a few mid-week at this rate aswell.

Hoping we can get the game on next weekend against Bowers. Gutted to be missing it mind.

The March fixtures are out now and amazingly, the 1st team have two blank weekends, though this may change.
