Full time: Guernsey 5-0 Knaphill

A great start for Guernsey and we should be happy with 5-0 but really it should have been double figures. Some really good saves by the Knaphill keeper, who was struggling a bit with the amount of banter from the crowd, but was the best Knaphill player on the day. Baker up front also worked hard and did all he could without any service. Knaphill did participate at times but were not at the races for the first half and Guernsey struggled to keep the momentum up as the game was won after 45 minutes. This was not Guernsey at their best but a win is a win although the second half seemed very long

I forgot to mention, where did you get the officials from? Some very strange decisions and one linesman who was so old that he just could not keep up with play. The only saving grace was the strange decisions were dished out evenly, they were poor

GG what was the crowd mate...?????

Wars 0-0 frimley very frustrating day for wars IMO should have been 3-4 up by half time, but chances wasn't converted, frimley was camped inside their half for most of the first half and fair play too them they parked the bus well.second half wars tried to false the play and was getting frustrated, frimley had the odd counter attack but never led to anything.a disappointing result but a point on the board roll on guernsey next Saturday

Ash: 2 Wembley: 2

Good entertaining game, which had it all. Ash went two up, and then Wembley got 1 back in the first half. Following the dismissal of the Wembley keeper, on the stroke of half time, the reserve Wembley keeper pulled off a number of fine saves and then Wembley got back on level terms. Wembley could have won it towards the end and then Ash could have won it with the last kick of the match. Ash alot better than their pre-season form suggests

Cove 1 v Epsom 2 (Mark Jarman 2)

A fair result with Epsom having most of the play, but as mentioned earlier on this thread it will be interesting to see what Cove do about the behavior of there left back, first a dreadful late tackle, followed by a punch to an Epsom player who had his hands by his side(very brave)

RPV 2 DORKING 0

great performance from the boys today. were the better team in both halves, with dorking only having a spell of 15 min in the second half pressing at 1-0 down without creating any clear cut chances! 1 save from myself in the second half but apart from that dorking never looked like scoreing!

first time rpv have won there first game of the season since 2005.

croydon on wednesday to look forward to now... (look out for the 6 oclock tram from merton park with a football team squeezed on lol !!!!)

Sandhurst 3-0 Chessington & Hook.

A game which could have had a lot more goals than what was on the scoresheet. Chessington started very brightly and had a good chance in the first minute, but once Sandhurst settled down there only appeared to be one winner. Danny Seawood got a hat -trick, the first two similar in him finishing off good team moves and the third a penalty after he was tripped up.

However the game was overshadowed by a 30 odd man brawl, which even resulted in a crutch being thrown about at one point, and eventually lead to Chessington having 2 players sent off and had to play the last 5 minutes with 9 men. A bit of a shame considering the game was being played in a good spirit up until then with no real poor challenges at all.

A good start to the season for Sandhurst, would be interested to hear what you thought of the game Bomaya, would have said hi if I knew you would be there!
