Your club needs you!

Hi everyone,

 

As you may know, since Terry Ryan stepped down we haven't had a Press Officer at the club. I have attempted to plug the gaps as best I can, doing match reports, radio updates and so on.

 

However, Mrs Beano has a weekend job, which means I have to take care of the BamBeano at weekends.

 

While she enjoys coming to games, she's at an age where she has to get out of her buggy at some point - which makes things difficult. If that weren't bad enough, the cold weather is coming now, which is going to prevent me from attending weekend games until the Spring!

 

Therefore, as a minimum, we need someone who can put match reports together. There's the short version (120 words) for the Non-League Paper, which needs to be phoned through on Saturday after home games, plus the long version, which can be emailed to me for publication on the website/in the local paper.

 

Also, if anyone who can SMS would like to help with the Twitter updates, that would be a big help too.

 

I'm happy to talk through the match report role with anyone who is interested - just let me know. Similarly, if anyone would like to volunteer for ANY role at the club we want to know! Just give me a shout...
