I keep getting a security warning inviting me to instal this thing. What is it and is it a genuine necessity or some sort of con job?

Flash Player ? Are you trying to have Paul Gascoine installed ??

The flash player enables you to watch movie type web things. If you go to macromedia.com and get the flash player you can get the benefit of 'flash' enabled websites. Some websites have all manner of whizzy animated thingy's (Cyclops, a fellow Enfield Town poster, plus a few other peeps more technically minded than myself can elaborate)on their websites. It is free and it ain't no con.

My daughter has been complaining about not being able to view her favourite web sites, for instance Die Maus, properly. So yesterday I installed the Macromedia Flash plug-in, and now she can view this, and other sites such as Daniel Küblböck, with all the bells and whistles in the konqueror browser.

At work, I cannot install Macromedia Flash plug-ins, and the browser is not konqueror, but a more common one. However, I do not have to view sites such as those.

That's because Colin resides in Germany and I am sure that his family visit German websites.

Are you having a bit of a blond day LMU?!

You can translate any web page by typing the url into the Google language tools and choosing the appropriate pair of languages. It doesn't translate the page correctly, but you get some idea of what it's about!

Sh1t, I'd already bought you a present and a new suit.

I wonder if I can get my money back?

Can I still have a bit of cake though?

I'll make you some fairy cakes and send 'em in the post.

Icing? Cherry?

Has anyone played any of the games on Die Maus website? There's one where you try to stop the moths from ruining the suit. There is no cake game, but there is a game where you have to try to catch the pancakes.

Now what could be more innocent than a fairy cake?

Naturally it should have icing and a cherry on top. Hence their name of "titty cakes" in my family.

Give up! <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Fairy cakes do not have to have cherries on them Invis.

Shall I hazard a guess as to who came up with that name? Could it possible have been your good self? (Or, as in this case.... not so good!!)

Oi, LMU, you cheeky young scamp, I'm not old! If I was, I'd put you across my knee, my girl, and teach you a bit of respect for your elders!

What's more I do not have a dicky ticker. If I want my dicky to tick, I can do it without mechanical aids, thank you very much.

I am poor though.

[color:"blue"]To be any good they do.Any self-respecting fairy cake worthy of the name has a cherry on top, approximately central.

[color:"blue"]Well yes, I think it was, actually, now you come to mention it. I was very young at the time though.

Last time I was sitting in a tea shop in Berkhamsted, a little girl came in with her mother and insisted on having a fairy cake with a dinosaur on the top!
