Makes my earlier fear of Canvey away look welcoming. Still, could have been Chester, or Hereford, determined to make amends for our last visit. Exeter are scoring well at the moment & will want revenge for a few weeks back, but I think we can at least get them back for a replay. Presumably it's on the 25th?

Providing we have no injury or suspensions,we can get a result there.We did it at Hereford and Morecombe,why not at Exeter?

I think we're going to see a pretty good game of football, here. Both teams with everything to play for, our away form being very good. I just hope we get a half decent ref.

Will we be able to get a coach together for this one, Jess? There's no home games prior to it but the Forum's this week and maybe The Reporter can do some publicity for it. I think my little-un's going to Disney on Ice that day so I'm up for it.

Steve Perkins will be suspended, and unless Exeter have a match on 21st October (LDV) perhaps so will Sean Devine.

At least we won't be the only ones cursing our luck - there is a total of six all-Conference games.

Still, a tough match - we may have to hope that Sean Devine is suspended, given that he's scored five goals in the last two games. Another three-goal blitz from us at the start of the second half will do fine.

If memory serves we have played Exeter once before in the Cup, in 1962/63 1st Round Proper when they were a league club.
