You lucky, lucky b******s. We should have won that and I think you lot probably know it. Anyway, another great show of strength from the Bedford, 19 goals in last 6 games now, not bad considering we played 3rd,5th and away to 1st during those games.
CAN WE SING A SONG FOR YOU????? wink.gif" border="0

did you watch the same game as me at all, the three goals that you scored were completely against the run of play, they came because we were to relaxed and we underestamated the wether conditions. all it took was canvey to figure out what was happening and once again we had the play and we pulled the goals back. you got the draw because we threw away the win!
p.s. what was wrong with your keeper, he seeped to have some kind of fit when you scored your first goal!

Face it Ken you and all the other Canvey fans s--t your pants. You underestimated us, we I grant you have'nt got the quality of players you have but what we have got is a second to none team spirit not a cocky attitude when at half time your team just thought it had got to turn up for the second half and steamroller us.We have also got Kevin Slinn who quite honestly took the p--s with his first goal, you see Ken defend like that in the Conference and you will get mullered,we did it and we are only a second rate team.See you all next year the title's going across the estuary.

I couldn't agree more with eyrieboy!
When Canvey scored in the 49th(!) minute, they went in at half-time and came out the second half knowing that they would have the wind in there favour and would try and pound on the Bedford goal. But the wind dropped, the players were too layed back and Bedford done us for pace. Bedford scored three well taken goals and your 'keeper thought he was on the disco floor. Our second goal was a complete fluke. It hit the underneath of the bar and rebounded in off the 'keeper. We only play well in from the 80th minute when we actually realise we are here to win something. But we saw the title hopes flashe before our eyes, and with Bedord scoring their equaliser, news came across that Gravesend were 1-0 up too.
Only thing I will say is that Bedford were lucky not to be 4-0 down at half-time due to our poor finishing and the conditions (Cobb's shot was going in, but it was blown out again). But you also threw away a 3-1 lead.
Pumpkin

The Canvey fans all sound like Alex Ferguson - like some poor little rich kid who thinks money is all he needs to get success. Well as Bedford pointed out, there is more to it than that. All the spirit, pride and honesty was ours yesterday. The poor little rich kids will just have to keep asking daddy for extra pocket money - until that nasty Mr Bank Manager catches up with him.

Why is it that I can't go on any thread without bumping into this smelly Old Git.

When I was a kid I asked my mum to explain what an old git was.

She said that it meant a person that smelt, is single minded to the point that they thought they knew it all, drivled and dribbled from most orifices, moaned continously, smoked, spat and drank in copious amounts and made themselves thorough nuisances in places where they were NOT WELCOME.

looks like Bedford have joined the anti-Canvey brigade, not that that's a great acheivement as you make membership so easy!
I like the Alex ferguson thing, although Man U get crowds!!!!!
Another refrence to lack of singing by Canvey what a surprise, when we were 5-1 down in the trophy there in december we were the only ones signing.

AMAZING!!!!!! YOU LOT GET WORSE

I've got to hand it to you lot. If blaming someone else instead of looking at your own misgivings was an olympic event, you would have no competition.

"The wind stopped us from scoring, whinge, whinge."

"We didn't have a full side out today, whinge, whinge."

"We underestimated you, whinge, whinge."

"The tide was out,whinge, whinge."

2 teams played in atrocious conditions. Not just Canvey.

You think you are the bees knees. All you have to do to win is buy another player, so you should have a strong squad. If by some freak chance you manage to get in the conference next season, you won't be able to rely on the same 11 players every match. If you had won yesterday you would have been crowing on about your strength in depth. The fact is, you haven't got strength in depth, that's why you were whinging. If you had a "full" side out, then I don't think you would have come away with 3 points, Coz we matched you.

Did you know, we had players on the field with flu? Did you know that we couldn't field our strongest side because of flu? Makes you dropping 2 points all the sweeter, doesn't it.
