Thanks Elaine, it just goes to show you can't trust the bulletins. :P

There has been some confusion about Monday's games. When I first got the fixtures they were listed as 12 pm KOs and that's what I put on Mitoo, but they were sent out to the clubs as 1 pm.

I had an email from Eric Harrison on Friday which said "I have emailed all eight clubs and games at Risborough and the 61 FC are kicking off at 1.00 pm. Bletchley is 12 noon. MK have not responded ( they have until 5.00 pm tonight ). No response means a 1.00 pm kick off."

I later heard from MK that they were a 1 pm KO.

So Holmer Green v Berko is being replayed. I hope the Holmer captain makes a complete recovery from his nasty injury but I can't help feeling for the other relegation threatened teams.

If Holmer get anything from this game now then there is something wrong with the FA and League rules / laws. I hear that Berko are struggling with midweek availabilities so a Holmer result is entirely possible despite being outplayed in the abandoned game and being 2-0 down with 14 mins to go.

For Berko it makes no real difference as they are destined to finish around mid table.

Monday 9th April

DIVISION TWO

4-0 Risborough Rangers v Hale Leys United

A report from another Forum:

Spartan South Midland League Div.2

Risborough Rangers 4 Hale Leys United 0

Adm £2 incl prog.

Att 35 est

Risborough continued their 8 match winning streak thanks to a pretty

comfortable win over league newcomers Hale Leys United.

Two first half goals after 25m and 38m gave them the first half

advantage but they weren't at the races really in the second half as

Hale Leys came back into it and were unlucky not to get a goal back.

A penalty after 81m and the 4th after 85m sealed the points in their

quest to try and overhaul league leaders Aston Clinton.

Great club and very friendly officials as Derek(one of the two clubs founders

and life president) gave me a full run-down on the club and history,a lovely

man to talk to. The press officer also spotted i was a hopper and was interested

in where i'd travelled from.

A well know hopper wouldn't have been pleased that we kicked off 7mins early,

and also no sign of the most famous local resident from the Manor House-Jamiroquai

so Derek told me.

Cracking ground for this level and thanks to Splodge for bringing it to my attention.
