Guernsey launch their own TV station...

Is it PAY PER VIEW.if not it could seriously affect your Crowds at home. Also it cannot be Away Games surely,as you would have to pay Clubs a fee for lost revenue.Loads of Armchair supporters out there.Think they should learn to walk.before they run, like getting the correct GROUND GRADING.

It says all games, but like you I am a bit surprised by this. No mention of £££.

I agree, Ground Grading is the priority, FA visitied on Tuesday. I here there is something in the Guernsey Press today on the subject, but wont see the paper until this evening.

On the link you added it does not say ALL GAMES,but I am sure it did.Hope this venture has got League clearance, and Media rights have been negotiated with all participants.Rumoured Croydon want £2000 for their participation, they have a few STARS in their Team.

Ooh interesting. Will it be free?

TRSTV has competition!!

Hardly bommie, i'm just a humble amateur! I cannot compete with such a professional set up :)

Interesting development though, the promo video says home and away although maybe that's just highlights. I wouldn't have thought your average CCL club had the facilities to provide live streaming, unless there's ways round that nowadays.

A bit of a concern if home games are to be streamed live and free. As well as affecting their own gate, Imagine a cold damp Saturday afternoon with Guernsey v Windsor upcoming - are you going to wander down to Dorking v Croydon or sit in your comfy armchair in front of the fire? Would it not be better to show the whole game delayed, say Saturday evening or Sunday?

There will be a small subscription of £2.99 per month to help cover costs and we are in talks with several establishments who are keen to show the games in public. The site will include highlights packages that will be available soon after the final whistle on match days. And there are lots of details on more features to come too. Exciting times!

Will it be ok for Teams that play Guernsey to wear shirts sponsored by William Hill,Corals,Betfred,Ladbrokes, when they appear on this streaming.?Well is this the first nail in the Coffin of Guernsey F.C.stinks of BBB to me.The Cherry Red Combined Counties League,is a trademark that all Non League People know, have they sanctioned this, what payment will they receive, likewise Clubs.Whitelaw can you assist with the answers.

If Merthyr Saints can get away with being sponsored by the UK Independence Party, and their league rivals don't object to it, then I'm sure one of Guernsey's rivals wearing a William Hill shirt isn't going to upset them.

£2.99p per month, cheap as chips, the losers Aurigny,Hilton Hotels,Travel Solutions,LaRoquettes, bet they are pleased as punch with this Live Streaming.Hang on are they not Guernsey FC Sponsors.Talk about shoot yourself in the foot. Can just imagine Nice Guy rubbing his hands with glee,5 games for 60p each, sitting in his comfy armchair, with a can by his side. Then he would be a bigger authority on CCL Football than he is now.WISE UP GUERNSEY SMELL THE COFFEE,GROUND FIRST,T.V. Chill out Smudge, it's still ony pre-season and you have already blown your lid about Guernsey!! They have already shown how well run a club they are (by your own admission), so somehow think they will have gone through all possibilities/outcomes/issues before going ahead with anything that they do.

Fair play if they have the means to do something like this. Remember they are somewhat a national side with a huge following in non league terms, so it's hardly surprising they have started to look at these new ventures for revenue.

If they have the funding to do it, and fans are happy to pay the subscription (they don't have to if they don't want to), then there should be no issue.

I'm pretty sure that their Board of Directors have enough financial nous to see the Guernsey project through. It's not as if they will go under if people don't take the subscriptions out, surely?

Wait till I have had a beer or 2,then i will really blow my lid.Fact T.V has killed Non League big time, just imagine as TRS said you have the choice of watching Westfield v Guernsey at the ground,it will cost you £200 to make the trip, but for £2.99p on the internet,it's a no brainer,Guernsey have been good for CCL gates in 2011/12,which is welcomed by all.But in my opinion if they are allowed to go ahead with this, many Guernsey folk will stay away from grounds,as will expats in the U.K,hitting any Revenue that could be gleaned.Note there were many knockers on here, when a certain Club, thought of the idea, on a lesser level, but not now it is Guernsey everyone stays stum,or are accused of blowing their lid.Give them what they want seems to be the attitude,7 home games on the spin,no Bank Holiday games,Early Kick Offs,as I feared in the beginning they will think they are bigger than anyone else, and can really do what they like,if their ground is not up to scratch, will they get relegated? But they will be able to tell us about it,on their very own T.V CHANNEL,you could not make it up.

According to tonight programme it will appears to be ALL matches

"The most exciting aspect of the channel, that will cost fans just £2.99 per month, is access to live coverage from every GFC match at Footes Lane and on the road in the CCL Premier League"

GFC have an ex tv man who is 'media manager' or something like that. He used to work for channel tv but has now moved to the uk.
