Truro City - hang in there

Top Cat

Recommended Posts

Them and Kettering are gone.

Kettering not playing Bideford on Saturday.

Therefore, reprieves will be in order come the end of the season in the respective leagues.

Thanks for clearing things up Top Cat!

If i'm right the bottom of the table now looks something like this:

Maidenhead 11pts

Bromley 10pts

Basingstoke 10pts

Eastbourne 10pts

Sutton 10pts

Havant 9pts

Billericay 8pts

Truro Gone

Will that mean that there are only 2 relegation places in our league, or will the best placed team in either step 2 league get a reprieve?

And of course we get to keep the gate receipts, bar takings, lucky 7’s from August 18th. Better to have got something out of that game than being due to play them at home in a few weeks time on the cash flow front.

Hold the press…. and the points... looks like they may have a weeks reprieve to find the Conference bond of £50k…….not sure if they will have any players though !

fingers crossed, maybe, just maybe they can scrape through

Very sad news - heard that Kevin Heaney was told this week to 'get out of Cornwall or be torn a new one.' That man is solely responsible for the death of Truro City.

Possible that they will reform in the South West Peninsula West next season, dropping five steps in the process. However, what for the future of Treyew Road (their home ground?)
