Glenthorne High School & Corinthian Casuals Football Development Programme

Glenthorne High School work in collaboration with Corinthian Casuals to provide a unique & exciting football development programme. Training sessions will be led by coaches with a minimum of UEFA B coaching licence ensuring that students gain greater understanding and knowledge from every session and game. All students will be given the opportunity to complete their FA Level One Coaching Award.

 

• Train three times a week with UEFA qualified coaches

 

• Play in the Youth Alliance League, English Colleges Football Association League, Surrey County U18 leagues and District, London and National Cups

 

• Participate in an International Tour

 

• Complete FA Coaching Awards

 

• Be part of an ever growing and successful Sixth Form

 

Leagues

 

The Academy will play in the Youth Alliance League as Corinthian Casuals and The English Colleges League as Glenthorne High School. All home games for Corinthian Casuals will be played at their ground on the first team pitch.

 

Cups

 

The Academy will enter many cup competitions in order to offer successful students the best op-portunity to succeed, including English Schools Football Association: National Cup (ESFA Cup) , London Schools Football Association: Surrey Schools Football Association: Hampton Trophy (County Cup) and Sutton Schools Football Association: U18 Sutton Cup (District Cup).

 

Academic Courses

 

The students will be joining an excellent Sixth Form with a glowing reputation throughout the bor-ough. The school can boast brand new Sixth Form facilities including class rooms, ICT suites and common room area. In addition to this the school also has a new sports hall and fitness suite available for use by the students. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to attend trips to New York as well take part in events such as the World Challenge where in the past stu-dents have visited Peru and Thailand. The curriculum on offer to Football Academy Students al-lows the students to select from a variety of Level 3 and Level 2 courses.
