Eastside Urchin Posted February 27, 2013 Share Posted February 27, 2013 Asked a simple question of why non league and lower league clubs can play on a different day to Champions league and UEFA cup etc,instead of trying to find a solution,his answer was that we should basically get on with it as its not going to change!!!! Thanks Sir Trevor but I think we deserve a bit more than that. I would like to know why non league clubs are forced to play league games at the same time our international side are playing qualifiers??? Are we supposed to not care about our country?? 4 years ago we got made to play Canvey at home,traditionally a derby game, while England played a World Cup Qualifier.At the time,such a game on a Tuesday night would of pulled in 400 plus,that night it was around 215,with around 30 from Canvey a good effort considering.How does this help the mon league game ???
