Just to give you all a flavour of the pitches in SSMFL country at present. This was Wodson Park at 5.30pm today. Hopefully some games can get the go ahead this week!!!

 

That is quite depressing. Will this winter never end?

We've had winter haven't we??? Now it's time for April showers?

 

No rain is forecast over the area for next few days but Snow (yes snow) is predicted late on Thursday and early Friday in East of England.

Haha, I played back in the old days, but I don't ever remember playing in a lake. I remember a few games on snow covered pitches but a pitch that waterlogged no.

Jets pitch is still very wet and a pitch inspection has been arranged for 2pm in case there is no improvement on the surface.
