Dagger03 Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 First of all - apologies for the lack of tannoy announcements today. At 1.15 the tannoy was working perfectly. At 1.30 it cut out completely (as did the power in parts of the burger bar, and also the lighting in the directors' box). Thanks to Ken and Kevin, it was back in use at 2.30 - and was working perfectly. Just what happened next I do not know - I called out the team line up as 2.45 and no problems. When I tried to announce them at 2.50, the microphone kept cutting out, and (as you no doubt heard) there was a lot of feedback. I could play music over the tannoy, but as soon as I tried the use the mic, it cut out. Hence I could not announce the winning 50-50 ticket. The winning ticket was 686 - it is for £100 - and Rob Burgess is holding the money. And Simon Lee chose the Player of the Match - ELLIOT STYLES.
