Blog now up, apologies for the delay - again, maybe not the most cheerful of reads - but looking forward to cheering the lads on to a much needed 3 points Tuesday night. Hope you enjoy the read.

Blog from yesterday's win is now up - superb effort from the lads, a well ground out victory. Always much nicer writing blogs when Margate win! Hope you enjoy the read, as well as the pic of Ivesy enjoying himself last weekend! :)

Blog from yesterday's game now up - good performance & we were definitely worth the draw. Just a shame to fall behind against the run of play.

Thanks to everyone who reads my ramblings, & hope you enjoy the blog.

Not really news compared to the goings on of today - but a belated blog from the trip away to Bognor is now up, if there's a quiet moment & you need something to read!

Hope you enjoy...

Blog from yesterday's game now up - really pleased we ended 2013 on a positive note with a hard-fought win! A well earned 3 points, and onwards & upwards.

A big thanks to everyone for following my ramblings this season - forever grateful (we're now just over halfway through, so not too much longer to put up with them!) and wishing you all a Happy New Year - all the best :)

See you at the Thamesmead game.

Blog regarding yesterday's game now up. My views may come across as somewhat acidic - unusual for me, especially after I've slept on things first - but I'm a strong believer in getting behind the team, win lose or draw. This isn't aimed at anyone in particular, but I felt the cynical, grumbling about everything contingent were out in force at the game yesterday. Disappointing, even more so than the result.

Blog regarding last nights game now up - just had a look on Facebook & refreshing to see that people have calmed down a bit now. As some have said, the team will need time to gel, & this is very much a bedding in period. Please, no more booing!

Blog from last nights game now up - a great result with a lot of stylish football & great goals - most importantly though, an excellent 4-1 win & a much needed confidence boosting 3 points.

Hope you all enjoy the read, & thanks to anyone who puts up with my ramblings :)

The original plan was to do two blogs at the weekend - one for the Wingate & Finchley game, and one for Terry Scott's Margate U10 team, who played Sittingbourne.

Although they lost, they put in an excellent display, & were well worth the watch & write-up. Many thanks to Terry for inviting me to come & watch / report - hope you all enjoy the read :)

Great reading as usual.

agree that certainly for the first half, pitch was in great nick considering the damage the persistent rain had done.

For those who like pure football,i thought Margate played some nice stuff in the first half, albeit once centre of pitch inevitably cut up in second half, they had to grind it out more ;which was much more to the liking of a neaderthal like me, who just wants margate to win no matter what

So there was a new style programme then ? -very nice.

lovely evening all round-i think it was the previous millenium when i last went to HDP and there was hardly a breath of wind
