PA at Stag Meadow

Don't Blame Me

Recommended Posts

Now that I have found out which dial looks after the volume, I would like to make the most of my duties.

If anyone is coming to a first team fixture at Stag Meadow, and you have something to celebrate, then I would be more than happy to announce it over the PA system. So, if it is a birthday, wedding anniversary or even if your divorce papers have finally gone through, please drop me a pm here and I will see what I can do. And if there is a special piece of music then let me know and I will do my best to play it.

This offer is also open to any visiting supporters and officials as well so don't be shy :soapbox:

Slightly off topic but having played yesterday I thought i'd say how refreshing it was using the PA system for the mascot as well. And, it was brilliant to see the little lad and his mother staying to clap off us (Camberley) at the end of the match despite the Windsor team already going in. Credit to Windsor.

Thank you Elnino37. It is appreciated to get some positive feedback for what we are trying to achieve at Stag Meadow.

We have been offering matchday mascot packages since we formed in 2011 and the discounted cost for a youngster involved with a Windsor FC Youth team is, in my opinion, extremely good value.

Also refreshing to have a first team manager who has really embraced having mascots. Not only allowing the mascots to be involved with pre-match warm ups and leading the team out, but letting the mascots sit in the dressing room while Mick gives his final team talk to the side must be a wonderful experience for the youngsters. And fair play to the players who really look after them. Special shout out to Carl Garstang and Dan Hicks who really went out of their way yesterday.

But then again, Windsor have always been a friendly welcoming family orientated club !
