Good luck to Haringey Borough at Wealdstone today in the FA Cup

I see that Haringey Borough's exploits in the FA Cup appear to have affected their League form as they came back down to earth with a huge bump on Tuesday evening, losing at home to FC Romania, very disappointing! Lets see how the Coles Park outfit get on today at London APSA:

I see Haringey Borough lost again yesterday, 3-2 at London APSA's Terence McMillan Stadium

London APSA 3 Haringey Borough 2
Essex Senior League
Admission: £6, attendance 20

On the other hand, the away team had one very vocal fan (I did wonder whether he may have been the manager serving a touchline ban given the amount of instructions he seemed to be issuing).

Were you in attendance then Rhodes

An interesting one this afternoon as Haringey Borough take on Tower Hamlets in the FA Vase First Round proper however the Club's website is somewhat misleading as it states that the tie is taking place at Goldsdown Road

I see Haringey Borough lost again yesterday, 3-2 at London APSA's Terence McMillan Stadium

A report from another Forum:

London APSA 3 Haringey Borough 2

Essex Senior League

Admission: £6, attendance 20

Having recently moved very close to Shadwell station, this was a very easy journey, being just 10 stops away on the DLR. Being greeted with "are you with the away team" by the man on the gate, I assumed that APSA don't really have many fans, but they were supported by several friends of the players in a raucous but good-natured fashion. On the other hand, the away team had one very vocal fan (I did wonder whether he may have been the manager serving a touchline ban given the amount of instructions he seemed to be issuing).

APSA play in an athletics stadium, but as opposed to the usual raised stand, there was three rows of seating to one side of the track. The rows were very shallow, meaning that anyone sitting in the seats looked like they were sitting on children's furniture. There was no bar or catering facilities.

The game was very entertaining, possibly the best I've seen this season. Despite Haringey having the best chances early on, APSA took a 2-0 lead. After Haringey pulled one back, APSA scored a third. Towards the end Haringey scored their second, but never really looked like equalising, much to the chagrin of their 'fan' who by that time was standing directly behind the goal next to the covered steeplechase pit.

I gather there will be an afternoon pitch inspection at Coles Park tomorrow to see whether the Essex Senior League fixture with Southend Manor can go ahead, and we're only just over half way through October!

I see that, surprisingly, Haringey Borough v Sporting Bengal United went ahead last Saturday with the Coles Park outfit winning 3-0 however, un-surprisingly, it's business as usual today as the hallowed turf is unfit for play with the Club's fellow Essex Senior League tenants, Greenhouse, game with Eton Manor being called off. No doubt the Haringey Borough v Tooting & Mitcham United London Senior Cup tie will be off on Tuesday evening.

I wonder how Haringey Borough will get on at leafy Walsham-le-Willows in the FA Vase Second Round this afternoon, I don't think it will be a cake walk by any means for the Coles Park Club:

Haringey Borough rested the whole of their first team while the visitors had a mixture of first team players and reserves.
