And in truth, the ticket is going to one of the 37 who travelled to Swansea last week for the LDV game but was excluded from the draw on the grounds that he is not a season ticket holder. He deserves the ticket more than I, although I would have had great difficulty getting to the game on the Marshes anyway.

 

Now if that doesn't please the likes of RONIN and MEAN IT MICK then fine. But then I don't really give a monkey's.

All talk, my friend. All talk. I don't think anyone is parting with anything more than face value in reality. Some people don't fancy going down to the Marshes (or like me can't get there in time) and so are offering them to people like the Swansea 37.

Personally I will be happy if Southend keep Constantine (their top scorer) on the bench again. But at the end of the day Southend are the league club, they have shown good recent form away from home, and they should win the game. But - as we all know - in the FA Cup shocks happen every year, so maybe, just maybe there will be another one at Park Lane ! Coming back down to earth, the winners will of course meet Lincoln: their manager Keith Alexander collapsed the other day - I hope he makes a complete recovery, sounds like it was quite serious.

Constantine played in our reserves 2-2 draw at Northampton Town yesterday. He seems to have fallen out of favour since Webb took over in his caretaker role so who knows what's going on there?

When I saw you a few weeks back in the LDV Trophy, Constantine was the only player who looked like they were doing something, besides that kid playing his debut (17 i think?) Cant remember his name, something weird.

Michael Kightly. He had a good game in the LDV but was a bit overawed in the next game and looked very much out of his depth. A good option for the future though. For once.

Kightly had one good game and has done sweet F.A since then. People were putting him under too much pressure and he hasn't done much/anything since.

 

Im not sure why people are trying to pay over the odds for tickets. I reckon there will be at least 100 left come Monday morning so people will just pay face value although i know Steve (Chadded) has paid 35 squids ... You get more or less than that for Snowy's ticket Mike!?
