The graemlins you have used look more like a Royal Family scandal.

I understand TL has 'walked away' from EFC after it was decided that he could no longer hold the position of chairman. However, I'm still very suspicious regarding his involvement in the club.

Does he not still own most of the 'assets' connected to the club?

Surely he must have appointed a stooge to take over his position as chairman and handle affairs.

Does this mean that were EFC to be unable to fulfil fixtures then TL could not be subject to league fines as he is no longer in charge?

In which case who would pay?

Someone must be in charge of the day-to-day running of the club.

I'm deeply suspicious of TL being 'completely uninvolved' in the club whilst there is still a practice ball to be sold-off. Surely he can't have left a viable football club.

Taken from the Windsor & Eton web site:

After three games, ten goals and a floodlight failure, Windsor & Eton are finally through to the second round of the FA Trophy after beating Enfield 3-0. Goals from Craig O'Connor, his Brother Terry and a penalty from Dave Carroll set up a mouth watering home tie against Canvey Island. Enfield had the worst possible preparation coming in to the match having had their manager leave after Saturdays game along with most of their first team squad. Enfield started the match with just five players that had been named in the previous two games, the rest were made up from youth and reserve team players.

I hope Enfield recover from this setback. It would be a sad day for non-league football if they don't.

For example I understood the club had 'offices' in the borough - not sure who owned these.

I know there's no obligation to broadcast happenings on this forum but could someone let us know what is going on and who is now in charge?

Who named the side yesterday? Is Freebird in charge? Why not just say what has happened here?

Yes despite repeated requests for information on this forum,no answers were given by 'EFC's (very, very exclusive)private members club'

Read the Independent, and you'll find that the 'fans' met with Lazarou on Monday,to discuss him handing the club over.

Matt waldron/Greg Howell will manage the team

Mark Higgs becomes secretary.

Ahh......keeping things secret.....promises of exciting announcements....general lack of respect given to the fans.

LAZAROU WOULD BE PROUD OF YOU,LADS.

yeah, but I remember Lazarou agreeing to hand Enfield over to us in 2001 and what happened there. Who would trust the guy to stick to any promises he made? More to the point, what has he got his eye on to take with him when he goes.

Freebird, any chance of some less cryptic information? Stuck up here in Bedfordshire I don't get a chance to see the local press. If the fans are being given the chance to get involved it would be nice if those based away from North London got to hear about it.

I seem to remember a 'secret meeting' being held at ETFC, after their little courtroom drama. Even ETFC fans were told on the Forum that if they did'nt attend they would not find out. Various ETFC fans tried to find out what had gone on, but nothing was forthcoming.
I think it is hypocritical for ETFC fans to come on here, and demand to know what is happening. I am sure that when it is 100% certain what is happening, then (and only then) will all ENFIELD FC supporters, on this forum be told. As for the other lot, they seem to be getting a little bit hysterical at the thought of the real Enfield FC starting to recover.

So there you have it EFC fans......the 'inner circle' will tell the rest of you whats happening when their good and ready.

No announcement until things are signed sealed and delivered.....know where have i heard that before.....wasn't that Del's mantra about everything that DIDN'T happen(new ground...etc.etc)........same old, same old.

finally about the ETFC meeting....EVERYBODY knew the meeting was happening, and events of the meeting were widley reported on these forums.

So Lovely Stuff, you would prefer to be told things that might happen, and you will believe it as true. e.g We will win our court case, We will have the stands ready, We will remain unbeaten.Sorry, you are on the wrong Forum to hear ifs, buts and maybes. Thats on the Fantasy football forum. At the end of the day, who said that EFC fans don't know whats going on, only you.

Isn't the statement: 'I believe the wait is nearly over'. the biggest IF BUT and MAYBE you can get.

(I'm not talking about the ETFC fans who show a general interest)....But i think teasing your own fans with hints and snippets of information, shows a lack of respect.

The only fans 'in the know' are the 10 or so fans that frequent the clubhouse after the games.

Oh....what a relief WE don't have to put up with that type of bulls**t anymore.
