Southport.

ETFC are in a good position to retain the title, especially as we have the easiest run-in of the five top sides.

I believe EFC will finish in the bottom three of Div1-North....even so.the way most people are predicting the leagues to be restructed next season, that would still place them in the bottom Ryman league along with ETFC (presuming we go up).

As for EFC sharing Brimsdown next season.....Well it's going to be touch and go whether EFC start the season at all,and if they do the last place the'll go is Brimsdown.

What tosh!

To answer LS, here goes....

1/. Good position to retain title? Yes. Easiest run in? How can you say that in middle of January? It may (or may not) be so now but with the weather turning anything can happen. As menioned else where, three sides use the brimmo pitch - will it be able to take such a pounding? Presumably, Brimmo have priority so, if they have fixture conjestion as well it is quite conceivable you could end up playing a number of games in quick succession - especially if you stay in the cups.... not the GBMT obviously!

2/. Can predict as much as you like on restructure... at 'our' level it is not sorted yet.

3/.EFC will start next season.

Reading this again, "What Tosh!" should probably have been the answer to a couple of the other posts in this thread.... this one is only partial tosh! IMHO
