Attempting to make sense out of our magnificent official website...

 

It seems that if you have your ticket from Sundays game (You managed to avoid the Burger King special offer on the back!) Then you can get tickets Thursday... If not you have to get them Friday night?

 

This seems pretty reasonable.. Not for people who lost tickets though...

Tickets for the FA Cup replay with Southend United will go on sale on Thursday evening at Park Lane from 7pm to:

 

Season Ticket Holders

Supporters Club members

Supporters with ticket stubs in the North Bank from last Sunday's game at Roots Hall.

 

Ticket allocation will be a maximum of two per person. Prices are the same as the original game, £15 adults, £6 concessions. Supporters will need to have cards/stubs with them. Any remaining tickets will go on sale on Friday evening from 7pm.

I agree with your interpretation Bill. I guess there may not be many tickets left over on Friday, so hopefully that will mean most tickets sold at Canvey go to Canvey supporters/hangers-on.

Well hope my ticket counts. I was in the away end but it has the west stand printed on it and is clearly marked for a away end. I will be very upset if I dont get a ticket considering I have been to 90% of all of Canvey's games this season.

If it was marked for the away end you will be fine. If you have evidence of having been to other Canvey games this season you could always take that with you if you feel you need to strengthen your case. At the end of the day they are trying to ensure tickets sold on Canvey go to Canvey fans and that there are few left over for Southend fans on Friday.

Yes good idea I will bring my programmes from this season. I will certainly be there on Saturday at Carshalton. Hope they dont ask me to produce evidence of where I live as I live in Southend but noone is a more passionate Gulls fan than me.

I wish the club had mentioned this before sundays game, i`ve got mine but i`m sure there`s going to be quite a few people who have not. It`s a fair way to help the fans who went sunday obtain a ticket but a warning from the club to retain your stub would not have gone amiss

I assume you were in West Stand Block X? Then you should be fine as it was a nominated away section.

I see they've corrected it... Almost identically to mine, coincidence... Maybe if I posted how to CORRECTLY code a website on here they'd make note of that too, then maybe we'd have a better site?

We did of course have a better site but the club decided it was far too good and had it shut down.
