Is a top man, a good footballer and an excellent ambassador for your club. He played his last game today in a BEDFORD TOWN shirt, scored in the 5-2 demolition of the Basingstoke and then after the game came and shook hands with all of our supporters.

A real gent, thanks to your fine club for loaning him to us during our times of trouble and he will always be welcome at our club.

With respect.

We could do with him back, judging by today's non-performance.

The problem is when will he get a good proportion of a game to show what he can do.

At the next reserve game, presumably. What a waste.

Evans needs to be given a chance - it's clear he'd be welcome at a lot of other clubs - and he can't contribute any less to a game than Abbey.

Good luck Louie, hope GNFC escape the drop too.

Top player. So if you don't want him, stick him in the direction of Bedford. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Without trying to sound patronising to our Bedford friends, there is quite a difference in the standard of football generally between Conference & Ryman leagues. If there wasn't, we probably wouldn't be 4th from bottom. I can imagine Louie shining brightly at Ryman level, as he has for the reserves. However, it's a lot harder in the Conference and he wouldn't have the time & space that he has recently enjoyed. The frustrating thing is he hasn't been given a real chance to prove himself yet. He needs 10 games in the starting 11, I reckon and he'd show us just what he's made of. After all, he's match fit, isn't he?

After the non-performance last saturday from our forwards,
surely now is the time for him to be given a run in the team?

With that in mind - my prediction league entry for Tamworth has him for first goalscorer!
