I was appalled by the gutter remarks made by an individual supporter towards the Shrewsbury lady physio. There were a number of ladies with children in the vicinity who were obviously disgusted with this individual’s behaviour. Who would blame them if the did not return to Stonebridge road. I for one was ashamed to be a Fleet supporter and rank this type of conduct along with racial abuse.

Surely this is a matter for the stewards and police on duty to sort out. If it was that offensive then the individual should be ejected from the ground. Whilst most of us are guilty of using colourful language at times, the vast majority know when this should be curbed. I have a 7 year old daughter and would certainly not want her subjected to the torrent of abuse that sometimes comes from the terraces. That's one of the reasons why I don't take her to games and therefore, that's why I'm going to miss every Saturday home game, except for County, until the new year.
