Tempo

A common theme to me this season at vitually every game is that games a played at a higher tempo than previos seasons.

That actually applies to both sides-and is probably a credit to the fitness of the players.

Indeed, i fit in a few conference games and the quality of football played in ryman this season is imo much higher than previously and gap in quality between ryman and conference has narrowed  i feel

I think TB in particular likes to play at a high tempo ( we used to call it fast pace in the olden days ).

that all given-the faster you play-the harder it is to keep control/make passes/openings.

I simply wonder whether margate would benefit from playing at a slower pace.

keep a bit more possession-they have quality passers of the ball-so is there a benefit in playing slower-but maybe a bit more accurately-would that result in a better 'final ball' and hence more chances-because frankly-for all of our quality-and TB and many supporters saying we don't score enough- for me we don't actually create many clear cut scoring opportunities in the first place.

less is moore.

Is slower also moore ?

I personally think it's just a bit of a 'blip' regarding performance etc after such a great start at the start of the season.  Performances in football change over night look at Newcastle and West Ham fans were baying for the blood of managers a few months ago now look everyone is happy and content (at present).  Ok we have played 3 more games then Maidstone and only 2 points in front which looks good for them at mo but only if they get a point or 3 which is not  guaranteed in this league by any means.  Another thing I feel sure Zac just needs a confidence boost at present a goal or two and sure he'll be 'knocking them in' like last season at Stones. At present it does look doom and gloom (to some) but we are still top got great management team, a very good owner and a very good talented squad of players that will get us out of this temporary rut and turn things around very soon.....
