VCD at Home - Lets Be Aving You !!!!!

It's all pretty flat on the communications front at the mo. No criticism intended but the website hasn't been updated and here we are two days away from our first home game in a while.

Reasons to be cheerful (Part One)  =

Two wins on the bounce must have given the lads confidence

18's and under can get in for a Pound

No disrespect to VCD but this is a winnable game

No top level league action to compete with

England don't kick off to 1700

Surely there must be a  chance for a few more through the turnstiles ?      COYB

Match previews for VCD Athletic, England v Slovenia and Enfield Town:

It will help if we start advertising the home games on Facebook and Twitter, so many follow/like the pages but don't go to games, some maybe because they don't know we're playing

These people should start looking at the Unofficial website and/or following the Unofficial Twitter account.  Not that I'm biased or anything ;)

If I can have a quick chat with Craig today I'll see what team news there is.  I'd assume that George Beavan and Callum Dunne are still out as, if I remember rightly, they may need ops to repair injuries.  I haven't got a clue what the latest news is on Sapps.

The club groundsman has asked for volunteers to help clear leaves from the paths at the Blunts Wall Road end prior to the match today.  Please take your own broom.

Also, Under 18's can get in to the match for £1.00 but must be able to supply proof of age is asked.

Thanks James, I'll add the unofficial website to my favourites

You mean you hadn't already done so?!  That hurts!

Barry you are a legend !!

When the attendance was read out as 350, those of us who were aware of your post, fell about laughing

That tickled me also, though it did occur to me that Blue Pilgrim may be a witch!

There were a lot of Under 18's at the game today thanks to the £1 entry that the club have eventually gone with. so that will have given a boost to the numbers. but ya it was comical when it was announced that we had 350. added to the good atmosphere around the pitch.
