Urchin Boy

Yeah that Yellow Army chant went on for about 10 minutes straight!

I had a very sore throat in the bar afterwards!

Well there's your first tip to getting the atmosphere going at The Stadium then isn't it!! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

But who's top of the league eh? This argument could run all day so I suggest we leave it at that.

Well Urchin Boy you might as well enjoy the Tranmere game, as we've been there and done that as well as winning the FA Trophy and being LIVE on BBC/SKY for two matches. Eventually losing to the team that were Top of Division 1 when we played them.

It is quite fun being there, you're there now, we were there two years ago.

So shut up and enjoy it!! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /><img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /><img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /><img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /><img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I have to admit the new Lee Boylan chant is absolute quality.

Sung to the tune of 'That's Amore'

When the ball hits the goal,

It's not Shearer or Cole,

It's Lee Boylan.

When the ball hits the net,

you will never forget,

It's Lee Boylan.

Quality stuff!

great stuff lads...personally in the cold light of day I thought you were the better team on the day.... but...you still gotta win 'em and given our lack lustre performance I'm happy with the point....MOM was undoubtedly Gay and that about says it all....YA has it right...we didn't play as well as we can...

anyway...

well done both teams for playing a good spirited clean but competitive match in atrocius conditions...

we wont play worse this year thats for sure...

as for the fans...both sides were great and despite the weather the atmosphere was electric....

you guys are welcome back anytime....

well done...

by the way....

did I see Hendonboy nosing around on this thread...whats he doing over here...they got shagged yesterday didn't they... <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Oi...HB...you aint stalking me are ya....

I'll tell me mum.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I think you pi..d him off, Uncle!

I don't know why most of our lot were in the Bridge House before and after the game. OK i know the clubhouse hasn't got draught beer but surely the Urchinettes alone would be enough to persuade them! <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I think our players were suitably impressed with the buffet afterwards!

the bridge house is THE place to be before Urchin games YA...in truth we couldn't get 'em all in...record bar takings as it was yesterday.....

might have to buy that pub.....rename it the URCH INN...(nicked that one off one of the boys)..

and yeah...our buffets are the bollox....

I was having a larf wiv kingy and gary over that one...they all used to turn the hot water orf and flood the away dressing rooms....no hospitality and try and piss orf the visitors....

he he...the good old days eh....

my way works better...kill 'em with kindness and they all wanna join us...you'd be surprised how many managers wont let their players into our clubhouse after the games... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I had to admit it did seem that most of our players had gone home!

Maybe Kingy was worried that they might stuff their faces full of food!

Was pretty rammed in the bar after the game but managed to get served fairly quickly. The Bridge House is a nice pub and does decent beer but there is a more of an atmosphere in the clubhouse.

Remind me next time, I'm down the Stadium to sample the food from the burger van.

they're a good well mannered bunch of players and they appreciated the hospitality...great day....

how many 0-0 games leave such a feel good factor...not many...great stuff....

anyway...normal service must be resumed so......

you lot can clear orf now...we've got FA cup games to concentrate on.... <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

at least 3 more I reckon.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
