FF News
Max Leonard is back playing for Northern Counties East League Division One side AFC Emley, and has pledged his immediate future for manager Darren Hepworth. The talented midfielder was a key player for The Pewits in the opening two months of the season, and his form earned him a move to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Frickley Athletic. However, he has chosen to return to the Welfare Ground – making his return in the 3-1 defeat to Yorkshire Amateur on Saturday. He missed a penalty in the game, but that didn't overshadow Hepworth's delight at his return. He commented: "It is a huge boost for us and it will help us push on during the second half of the season. It didn't go our or Max's way on Saturday and the result or performance is no reflection on Max. We're delighted to have him back. He's given everyone a lift and he's a great lad to have around."
