Camberley 3 Bedfont Sports 1. Bedfont will probably be a bit disappointed not to get something from this game as for long periods they looked the better side, hard to tell who was top 3 and who was mid table but goals count and Camberley continue their unbeaten run

Big time Charlie's, not sure what you have to do to qualify for that but maybe it is going unbeaten in the last 7 league games, in fact I think the last time we lost was at Ashford in November.

Tommo, Reevo and Barney have got to take credit for putting a team of mates together who are prepared to work hard for each other.

Well done to Grumpy for getting the game on

I apologise for the posting on the website which was purely a bit of banter, if this is what makes us big time charlies again I apologise

Good luck for the rest of the season, loads of twists and turns yet

Windsor FC 2 Farnham Town 4

What a treat...well...for the neutral observer like myself lucky enough to catch this one. Cracking, attacking game, drama aplenty and a game I have to say was a pleasure to watch.

The hosts looked favourites to me to overturn the double penalty start handed to the visitors...but I know nowt and this was once more proved to be the case.

Horrible misses, the hosts denied by a couple of top drawer saves and even the potty mouthed Windsor posse must have almost been too breathless to moan at times.

Played on a great pitch, this was, to my eyes at least, a great advert for the CCL. If some floating fans coughed up their six quid to see this, I reckon they'll be back...be fools not too after an afternoon's entertainment like this.

Thanks to all who made my Saturday a splendid one.

Yep, it was certainly entertaining - glad you enjoyed it.

Don't think I've seen worse finishing than our 2nd half efforts since my son played in the U10s!! Horror show in front of goal.

Fair play to Farnham, they break well, and their direct running today did the same as it did against us at their place. A very useful team, but we could / should have come away with something from the game. Only ourselves to blame.

Another good win for Camberley especially when we were not at our best.  However I would say that was down to the fantastic work rate and organisation of Bedfont who didn't give us a second to relax.

We took an early lead however Bedfont then dominated for the next 25 minutes missing one great chance and then getting a deserved equaliser.  1-1 at the break.  2nd half we were better however our keeper made a great save at 1-1 before we retook the lead with a good low volley.  Despite some scares we made it 3 when the keeper was killed with a hospital ball.

Thanks for the apology as I did find your post in bad taste. I did think you deserved the 3 points today because you wanted it more.

To qualify to be 'big time charlies' is on the say so of the Ash Massive

Good luck to Grumpy for the rest of the season.

I think Grumpy will need more than good luck more like a miracle

Maybe Red Spot may receive a 7dayer in for Grumpy but doubt it as there are many much more qualified & better groundsman out there

but agree with stanley Baggie deserved their win today taking their goals well at the right time of the game, but guessing Grumpy isnt a popular bloke with the ashford crowd as it certainly wasnt a billiard table they were playing on today

There were a few 'head in hands' moments finishing-wise, for sure...but I suppose at least when you're making the chances to miss, you're doing something right.

Had the pleasure (once again) of visiting Skinners Field for Worcester Park 2-2 Dorking.

A fair result; very competitive game.

Chatted with numerous people from both clubs while watching the shock FA Cup scores coming in.

Once again, I find myself wondering who the people at the FA are to decide that this venue is not suitable for step 6 football!

Loads of kids games pre-match with many watching the main game after. A packed clubhouse with opponents mingling in a friendly, warm environment.

I just hope the hierarchy have a re-think, and soon.

Be such a shame to lose WPFC (and others) to decisions made without real football being considered.

Splendid day out, if rather chilly, and I look forward to seeing WPFC v Banstead in the league cup on Tuesday at Wibbandune.

Horley Town 2 Cove 2

Great game against the team top of he League. Great to see our manager back and a good all round team performence four good goals, two dissalowed one for each side and good referee only let down by the joke of an assistant who missed that the ball that did not go out as he was so far behind the game and giving an off side when our player was in his own Half! Good to see two teams playing football.

Genuine Question;

Is there a league rule on the size & type of area a club must provide for teams to warm up in?  Surely any qualified coach will understand the importance of and benefits of a warm up and providing a suitable area surely must be stipulated by the FA or league?

I'm pretty sure the pitch is big enough and pretty sure there are no rules stating that a club can force you to warm up anywhere else!

Plenty of clubs with great pitches ask teams politely to train off the pitch but a team can refuse!!

I never knew that!

Could lead to animosity couldn't it?

Think there is also insurance issue I know Wembley and cobham ask you to warm up outside the ground and whether any injuries damage etc is covered by their insurance as not on their site could be an issue?

Insurance could also be invalidated if a club warms-up on the pitch when specifically instructed not to !
