Storer Wastes No Time In Signing For Wrexham

Following his departure from league rivals Kidderminster Harriers by mutual consent earlier this week, Vanarama Conference club Wrexham have announced that Kyle Storer will be switching to the Racecourse for the rest of the season.

The 27-year-old midfielder joined the Harriers in 2011 after serving at Nuneaton Town, where he worked with Kevin Wilkin, Gary Mills, Wes York and briefly with Louis Moult.

Based near Coventry, Storer started out with local side Bedworth United and then stepped up to join Tamworth.

While at The Lamb he faced both Norwich City and Stoke City in the FA Cup Third Round ties, scoring against the Canaries and hold Stoke to a draw on two occasions before bowing out on penalties.

In his three and a half seasons with the Harriers, he has played over 140 times and been club captain.

“This a massive club and I’m just glad to get the chance to come and play here at such a professional club,” said Storer.

“The ambition of the club has forced my hand to come and join. Hopefully we can kick on and be around the play-offs at the end of the season.”
