Hi Guys,<p>As usual the normal band of morons and pot chasers have jumped straight onto your site spouting off general rubbish.<p>I would like to post a more measured comment on this season's activities.<p>It's been fun, the essence of non league football at its best - 2 sides fighting tooth and nail, one loses so does the other, neither seemingly wanting to win the title, a down to the wire finish, good football, good (if you take out the morons) banter and thrills and spills on the way.<p>Obviously I am happy that we have gone up but the fact that we were pushed so hard made the title all that more sweet.

Personally I think that next years Ryman Premier will be of a very high standard but I also think Canvey will be up there challenging again alongside the usual suspects and have a good chance, squad make up permitting, of joining us up in the Conference.<p>I'd just like to thank both teams and sets of fans for making this season one of the most exciting I have known for a long while and for contributing to a great advert for non league football.<p>I'll be keeping an eye out next year for your results and I wish you all the best in your Ryman campaign.<p>Best Wishes,<p>Fleetite. <img src="graemlins/deejay.gif" border="0" alt="[deejay]" />

well the run-in was good i suppose and it would have been better if we had won the league. But, we did get a good FA cup run. So next year will be ours.

We have consolidated our position in the Ryman Premier. Several years ago, we were relegated from a lower division as our rise had been to meteoric. Even in the 3 years we have been in the Premier, we have bettered our points position. As long as things go according to plan, our next big push will mean we won’t be in the conf for long and go onto bigger things.

Gravesend boys you make me laugh. It's says on your profile your from kings farm in Gravesend - thats a S H I T H O L E. Gravesend is the Craphouse of Kent - like Guildford is the craphole of Surrey and Pitsea is the dumphouse of Essex. Don’t worry all you Gravesend posters. After your promotion, I posted a good luck message on your board but noticed that already you were being visited by existing conference teams. Some well wished, but some did not. It appears you will be very busy defending yourselves next season and you won’t have time to visit many other sites. (Saying that, you probably will find time!).
