Terry has already stated this cup is not a priority and with much more important league games coming up I really cant see him risking many senior players.

We've had some good memories in the KSC. Beating Charlton in 94, then Dover in the final in the same year, victory over Gravesend in the 98 final, the wins in 03, 04 and 05 (the Sykes memorial game), the 3-4 game with Charlton a couple of years back.

However, the RLC has no real history. I also agree with an earlier poster about there being too many clubs in the league.

It is strange that while football clubs are better equipped than ever to deal with fixture pile-ups (players are fitter, teams can use more subs, pitches are generally of better quality than the past, top level clubs have squads of 25), there is more moaning about fixture pile-ups than ever. Look at some of our seasons from the 60s - we often played 15/16 games in April.

my view is you don't play 34 games with the ultimate goal of gaining promotion then take a chance with your top players playing 2 games (cup games) in one week for a 'one off'.  If it was a league match or 2 that's a different matter and expected due to the postponements due to the weather......be nice to win a cup or 2 but not with the chance of promotion being thrown into disarray with injuries and tiredness that may, or may not happen

live for tomorrow.

one game at a time.

win tomorrow.

then win wednesday.

you only get one chance at a cup game.

entirely feasible that MFC will not get to bss.

if two cups are won-that makes it an ok season-not great-but ok-and momentum for next season.

to say they are a distraction is just making excuses for not winning.

how will it fell if we lose the first play-off semi final and have nothing to go for-or have won.

at least we could have won/be in two cup finals so other opportunities.

go for everything-just win something.

very important to win both cup games this week-will re-build confidence.

to lose -puts even more pressure on winning the league games.

win-and it takes some pressure off.
