Whilst we are all struggling to get games played on our saturated pitches, West Ham as I write this have their sprinklers in operation at Upton Park !!

Noticed that too Kenda, my assumption is that West Ham's pitch is mainly a sand construction therefore adding a dash more water helps it bind together & also reduces the amount of debris & loose sand flying up. Also it's the turning and change of direction. There is no resistance on dry sand

Windsor were terrible today. The pitch didn't suit us of course but dear oh dear we never looked like scoring. Very young team with our 2 most experienced players not in the squad. Men against boys to be honest.

Played 2nd half with a 16 year old playing up front who is still very green and not a physical presence. In fact finished with 5 teenagers and 10 men due to an injury with all subs on from about 80 mins.

Well done Frimmers who looked solid and, as suggested last week, should pick up a good few more points before the season is finished if they stay together.

I was happy to take in any proper football on a day like this and not a bad day out either. Rather surreal start when the fairly routine event of buying a programme prompted the response " It'll end up on ebay" from a passing wag (or similar!)

A perfectly playable pitch and a game that wasn't too bad at all. It could have been a whole lot better, but I suspect others who attended might make reference to who/what might have been responsible.

Not a fan of two bob cups when there's fixtures piling up, but it got me out from under Mrs. Voice's feet, so she was most pleased.

You asked if a game could be called off the day before it was due to be played.

And the answer is it can't unless the league say so beforehand such as when the whole area is under six feet of snow.

But it was a Cup game,so no league involvement.

No it wasn't.

Some of us do our utmost to keep within league rules and guidelines. Some clubs seems to get away with doing what they like.

Camberley 0 v 0 Westfield

I will say that I felt we deserved the points on chances created however Westfield may disagree however it was 0-0 and that will stay

Thought the ref had a decent game however again some Westfield people may say otherwise.

Good to see Dalts and Mr Powell and the odd ex Cambo player on a decent afternoon

Interesting results this afternoon with only Cove benefittiing up the top, although they are wasting their time as they can not go up, and both Frimley Green and Hanworth Villa winning.

Will be interesting what dull excuse Windsor come up with like Oh we cannot play on that sort of pitch, We cannot watch that sort of football every week blah blah blah

And of course the question is at the top.  Will Molesey ever play again :)

Ashford Town 3 Horley Town 3

A good performence today If only we could defend. Two nil up at half time thanks to Ashleigh. Ashford got it back to two one then Ashleigh collected his hatrick for us to go three one up. Next Ashford got a penalty, then they had a player sent of for another terrible tackle on Ashley (The first one should have been red). Then in injury time a long rang free kick (Cross) flew into the top corner to make it three three at the final whistle.

Another very good referee today

If any town or village has lost your village Idiot they are all at Ashford Town FC in the crowd!

Sorry Rother but you are getting a little boring.  With the budget and support your lot should be romping this league however you are not.  You should stop making excuses and admit you are not good enough instead of using pitches and style of play as an excuse for your failings.

Cove 3-1 Knaphill

Routine win for the leaders in blustery conditions and on a poor pitch, which didn't make for the greatest spectacle. Cove lost 2 players to injury in the first half, so will be pleased to have secured the win. Knaphill didn't trouble them too much in truth and got a consolation ten minutes from the end. Both sides had a man see red right at the end for an off the ball incident.

More evidence of my thoughts on shit goalkeeping, went down like a sack of spuds and totally out of position.
