Margate have completed the signing of Ryan James from Ryman Premier League side Met Police.

The 25 year old Midfielder joins Terry Brown’s side on a deal that runs to the end of the current campaign.

Having started his career with Grays Athletic, James later when on to sign for Football League side Oxford United before injury meant he was released in 2012.

James has enjoyed a successful season so far with Met Police who are themselves in the Ryman Premier League play-off race.

Having joined with 14 League games left, James can’t wait to get started and hopes to win automatic promotion with the ‘Gate.

“We have 14 crucial games left and it is really exciting to be a part of this Margate team and I can’t wait to get started.”

Having already bagged 10 goals so far for the Police this season James is hoping to add to his tally.

“I can score goals as that is part of the way I play but I am just looking to come here and do my best and hopefully win the League”.

The club confirmed that James is available for selection and will go straight into the squad if selected by Terry Brown.
