FF News
Forest Green Rovers midfielder Kieron Forbes has joined Vanarama Conference South outfit Sutton United on a loan deal until the end of March. He is set to make his debut for the Surrey club on Tuesday night when they host Bromley after confirmation of the move was confirmed earlier today. The 24-year-old midfielder is yet to make an appearance for Forest Green this season having spent the majority of the campaign on loan at Aldershot Town. He made 35 appearances for the Shots in all competitions and was a part of their squad when they knocked former FA Cup winners Portsmouth out of this year’s competition. He’ll now link up with a Sutton side who sit 13th in the Conference South and who have five scheduled league matches to play this month. Since moving to The New Lawn in December 2010, Forbes has made 107 league appearances and is one of Forest Green's longest serving players. He has had limited opportunities in the past year however and spent the final few months of last season on loan at Whitehawk. Source
