Last season, during The Urchins' home game against Bognor Regis Town, a fox appeared from nowhere, sat behind one of the goal lines for a few minutes, then became a real 'fox in the box' when walking into the penalty area when the action was up the other end. It then walked along the track and sat in the athletics lanes behind the other goal, whereupon an official tried to clear it out of the ground, was given the run around by the fox to the mirth of the travelling fans, and was then roundly booed when he finally succeeded.
