cup of tea Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Well, it ended up being a tough night for Hornchurch. I think we started very well and edged the first half but just didn't get to grips with the second half. Leatherhead are an odd side, some dubious tactics combined with some very skilful players. That was one hell of a ball in for their first goal. Whatever they are doing, it's effective as they are top of the form guide at the moment and unfortunately deserved their win. Need to move on quickly and start planning out the game against Witham on Saturday, another 6 pointer. As for the return of Carl Rook, apart from one shot that Sam pulled off a good save to and typically a few elbows, he seemed relatively ineffectual. Not sure he has much of a future at Ryman Premier level.
