26 teams go to step 8 every season, but since 3 wont be joining (Hereford, Salisbury, and only 1 club applying from the Northern league (Bishop Auckland who seem highly unlikely to finish in the top 2) So it is looking like 21st of the Ryman league is likely to get a reprieve.

Not been confirmed yet obviously, but highly likely I hear.

Have heard the same rumour as well albeit through Facebook.

Not wanting to count ones chickens but we're not very lucky with reprieves .. we're the only side ever to finish 3rd bottom in the Connie South and get relegated.  In all the other seasons the 3rd bottom has been reprieved.

Hopefully we won't care after we finish outside the bottom 4.

I know how you feel Andy following The Urchins is turning me into Marvin the Paranoid Android from the Hitch hikers Guide to the Galaxy. When you think it's the light at the end of the tunnel you find it's just some one with a torch bringing more woe to the club but we must keep our fingers crossed any news is good news

As most of you will be well aware we (East Thurrock) were in a similar position to yourselves last season.

Covo kept impressing upon everyone at the club the importance of finishing as far off the bottom as possible, with reprieves seemingly happening most seasons.

Wingate thought they were down when finishing 21st last season, and it was weeks after the end of the season that they got reprieved.

It looks this season that the team finishing 21st could well stay up, but 22nd could also turn out to be a much better finishing position than 23rd.

Hopefully, the Urchins will finish above the bottom four, but remember, every game is critical, and your club needs your support more than ever over the last few weeks of the season.

Best of luck for the remaining games, we don't want to lose you, nice local derby.

(What's the odds of us facing you in the FA Cup again next season ?)

We've had some really good seasons recently and have always been challenging at or around the playoffs in the RPL.

So expectations have been high for the supporters but it just haven't happened this season for us for a number of reasons. Are those expectations realistic with the fan base that we have? I think we'll stay up but whatever happens I think it's a bit of a wake up call for us.

We have spells of playing the same team in the cups, Tilbury, Billericay and yourselves come to mind.
